HISTORY
On a hill above Lokovina lie the ruins of the former seat of the Dobrna lordship. The castle dates back to before 1257. Today, its remains are surrounded by forest and scenic views. The name Kačji grad is linked to Matija pl. Gačnik.
Route description: From Hotel Vita, follow the road towards Lokovina, then the signs to Kačji grad.
Before visiting: Park at the foot of the hill. Suitable footwear is recommended for the short climb.

MANOR
The manor Novi grad or Neuhaus was built in 1774 as a new home by Baron Franc Ksaver Avguštin Dienersberg. Although the interior is not open to visitors today, a stop is interesting due to the historical appearance of the manor, the surrounding park, and the nearby pond in Lokovina.
Route description: From Hotel Vita, head towards the town centre and continue towards Lokovina. The manor stands by the road.
Before visiting: The interior of the manor is not open for viewing. You can combine the visit with a walk through the park or by the pond.

Dobrnica Manor, formerly known as Gutenek, was likely built in the 17th century. Today, the restored building houses apartments, and traces of the former park are still visible nearby.
Route description: From the centre of Dobrna, follow the road towards Zavrh. The manor stands at the junction for Klanc and Zavrh.
Before visiting: The manor can only be viewed from outside. You can continue along the path towards Ledenica Cave.

NATURAL HERITAGE
The Ledenica Cave is hidden in the rocky slope not far from the Dobrnica manor. The natural limestone cave was once expanded and used as ice storage for cooling beer from the brewery in Gutenek. Today, the cold and somewhat mysterious space is an interesting reminder of former life in the valley.
Route description: Continue past the Dobrnica manor towards Hudičev graben and follow the signs for the cave.
Before visiting: Leave the vehicle at the access point. The ground can be wet and slippery, so we recommend caution.

In the former spa hayrack, an extensive collection of objects telling the story of the daily life, work, and customs of our ancestors is on display. Approximately 10,000 exhibits are arranged across various thematic areas, turning the visit into a colourful walk through the local past.
